Terms and Conditions       This contest is open to Primary and Secondary School Students from age 10 to 15 years as of Jan 2008. The submission requires approval from the School Principal. Each Team should consist of a teacher & maximum of 5 students, with the Teacher as the facilitator for the school team. All equipment used for video making must be Panasonic products, either school owned or sponsor-use from Panasonic. Each video should consist of a synopsis (short write-up of video in no more than 80 words). The theme for KWN local contest 2008 is Ecology or Culture. All submissions should base on theme. The video format can be in documentary. News reporting, drama or animations. Each video clip should be strictly 5 minutes in length, otherwise penalized. Final Entry Submission closes on 21 Oct 2008.       Submission of video works should be on Panasonic mini DV Tape (on Short Play mode) and with English subtitles if the native/local languages are to be featured. Students(s) conducting the interview must wear KWN T-shirt(s)* in the video clip. (* to be provided upon confirmation of registration). Microphones shown in the video must have the KWN Microphone cube* (* will be provided upon confirmation of registration and must be returned to Panasonic upon video submission). Entries submitted must be clear of copyright infringements. Participants must keep all production raw materials till 31 Dec 2008. By submitting your entries, you assign all proprietary rights to the submitted work to Panasonic Singapore absolutely and in perpetuity and you warrant that in the case of works which are nor produced or original to you, the necessary assignments to vest the rights in any media vehicle shall be duly obtained. You shall indemnify Panasonic Singapore and all its affiliates from and against any and loss, damage, cost, expense claim or legal proceedings arising as a result of a breach of any terms contained herein. Panasonic Singapore reserves the right to use the names and photograph submitted, for all publicity purposes. The judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entertained. Panasonic reserves the rights to change the terms and conditions without any prior notice.
