I joined Panasonic since I graduated in year 2000. I have been with the Company for 7 years. I remember I was responsible for the local distribution of Panasonic consumer electronic products. As the job nature coincide with my academic pursuits in marketing, I have enjoyed and learnt much from my job. Here I am able to cover the entire spectrum of marketing from product conceptualization to sales.

Further, the Company has also given me new opportunities to work in the region with our Panasonic Companies and distributors. It is a great opportunity for me to discover, learn and adapt to different cultures, lifestyles and consumer preferences in these new markets. And I could not have done it myself without the strong support of my overseas colleagues.

The Company’s culture, strongly embedded in the management’s philosophy, has significant influence on the manner how our business is driven and conducted.

I have been with the Company for about 15 years. Although I have been working in the Accounting Department, I have been given the opportunity to work with different business units where business nature is different. And this continuously makes my job challenging and interesting.

The working environment in the Accounting Group is also very closely knitted, although we operate in 3 different locations – Bt Merah, Beach Road & Tuas. Certainly we have differences in the course of our work. Despite that, we, as a Group, have unity and team spirit to achieve our goals.

We are able to do this because of the strong belief in our Panasonic Philosophy and this, as a result, has become a culture among us.

My leader who has placed much emphasis on cooperation, teamwork and the untiring effort for continuous improvement particularly motivates me. And I believe that we will improve if we have an undying spirit.
