We are honored to have the participation from a total of 19 Panasonic Scholarship Alumni from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand. All the members from the various Panasonic Scholarship Offices were also present. Our guests of honor included:

- Mr Tsutomu Shimada, President of Panasonic Scholarship Inc.
- Mr Shinya Kokudo, Director of MEI Corporate Recruiting Center
- Mr Hiroaki Nishimura, General Manager of MEI Global Human Resources Team

- Mr Yasuo Fujimoto, Deputy Managing Director of Panasonic Management Thailand
- Mr Toshiya Umemura, Manager of Business Strategic Development, Panasonic Management Thailand
- Mr Toshiro Kisaka, Managing Director of Panasonic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

This is the first time that the Panasonic Scholarship Alumni from this region are meeting up in Bangkok. The night started off with a reception that was accompanied by live music performed by a Thai musician.
The event then commenced with the 2 speech presentations by Mr Kisaka, as well as Mr Fukushima, who welcomed all participants to the event. After which, the long awaited dinner started. All guests were treated to an international buffet spread which they tucked in with gusto. In the midst of the dinner, the Panasonic Scholarship Alumni were also invited to give a short introduction individually.

Mr Shimada was then invited to make a presentation titled ‘Reminiscing Memories’, where he shared the activities that took place while the scholars were in Japan. We also had the honor of a Quiz Presentation by Mr Ito, whereby he tested all Alumni on their knowledge about Japan, as well as Panasonic. The winner had the pleasure of enjoying an entire box of Japanese amago!
As the night drew to a close, all guests were entertained by a Thai Cultural Dance performance. 2 dances were presented, with live Thai music as an accompaniment. As the scholars bade their farewells, they were presented with a Panasonic souvenir item to bring home with them. The night ended on a sweet note with all guests promising to keep in contact, and anticipation as to when and where the next Anniversary Celebration will be.
