Responsibilities

• Be part of the ID Design team in designing both home AV entertainment system and personal AV entertainment products.
• Participate in market research and forming the product concept with the market research team. This includes product form and shape proposal, materials use, etc.
• Perform design brainstorming, sketching and produce the final design artwork.
• Provide design guidance to junior designers and assisting them in controlling the project schedule.
• Liaise with respective engineering teams throughout project to ensure design integrity is achieved.
• Participate in merchandise meeting and presenting product concept to sales and marketing team and customers.
• Some overseas traveling may be required to perform market survey and getting direct feedback from customer.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Design or related field.
• For the post of Industrial Designer, at least 2 years experience in Electronics Consumer Products is needed.
• For the post of Senior Industrial Designer, at least 5 years working experience with proven successful product concept generation is needed.
• Good communication and presentation skill.
• Process good knowledge of 3D CAD software. Proficient in Rhinoceros 3D will be an added advantage.
• Proficient with relative software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoint.
