Compact LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR 28mm Wide-Angle Lens with 10x Optical Zoom

Now you can fit sweeping landscapes into a single frame with the 28mm wide-angle setting, and pull in subjects from far away to capture even subtle facial expressions with the dynamic 280mm telephoto setting. Ideal for traveling, this camera combines this wide ranging lens with a handy, compact body. The Extra Optical Zoom function also extends the zoom to as much as 15x on the TZ3 and 13.8x on the TZ2, giving you even greater telephoto power*. *In 3-megapixel resolution mode.

Intelligent ISO Control Prevents Motion Blur

The TZ3 and TZ2 feature Intelligent ISO Control, which prevents motion blur by detecting subject movement and raising the ISO setting and shutter speed accordingly.

MEGA O.I.S. Prevents Hand-Shake While Traveling

Hand-shake is a problem with most small cameras - but not with the TZ3 and TZ2. MEGA O.I.S. makes it easy to take clear, sharp shots at times when hand-shake is normally a problem, such as when you're on the move, in a car, or anytime you can't use a tripod. You can capture all the sights of your trip in beautiful, blur-free photos that make great memories.

Large, Easy-to-See LCD* with advanced features

The TZ3 boasts a large 3.0", 230,000-pixel LCD with advanced features. For example, Dual Image Playback lets you compare two photos. *The TZ2 has a 2.5-inch, 207,000-pixel LCD and does not offer Dual Image Playback.

28mm Wide-Angle with Multiple Aspect Ratios

Conventional cameras generally use almost the entire CCD area when recording an image, and the angle of view may be altered by changing aspect ratio. The CCD of the TZ3 and TZ2 provides a larger recording area, making it possible to capture images from 28mm to 280mm with any of three aspect ratios - 4:3, 3:2 or 16:9.
