Skype is embedded in a handset, so there is no need to use a PC while talking.

LAN compatible

Most WiFi phones cannot be used without a Wireless LAN access point. However, KX-WP1050 includes a small router and can be used with a LAN when a Wireless LAN is not available.

WAN setting

Dedicated WAN connection button Connect in 3 steps:
1. Switch the mode selector on the router
 
2. Plug it into power outlet
 
3. Turn on WiFi phone
 
 
 
The system searches for cleanest channel on start-up automatically.

Use WiFi and PC concurrently

The system comes with its own router, so your PC and WiFi phone can be connected to a Wireless connection or LAN at the same time.

Conference Call Function

This unit allows you to participate in PC-hosted conference calls. Owners who operate multi-office businesses can reduce travel by setting up a conference call on their PC and connecting with each store. This is a free service on Skype. Speaker phone and cordless handset on this model makes this function more effective.

This unit complies with safety standards and Communication standards for Canada, England, France, Germany, Japan, and America. The AC adapter is compatible with all voltages from 100V to 240V. Can also be used with country-specific AC cord.
