LUMIX DMC-FX12

On top of the 3x optical zoom, the FX12 and FX10 offer Extra Optical Zoom. This feature uses the center of the CCD to boost zoom power to as high as 4.5x (FX12) or 4.1x (FX10) in 3-megapixel resolution mode.

In Simple mode the camera makes all of the complicated settings automatically and the settings menu is simplified. Taking a beautiful shot is as easy as pressing the shutter button.

A moving subject no longer means you're stuck with a blurry photo. Intelligent ISO Control detects if the subject is moving and automatically raises the ISO and shutter speed settings accordingly. The higher settings prevent motion blur, so you get clear, beautiful shots even when your subject won't hold still.

It's hard to hold a small camera steady. That's why the FX12 and FX10 feature MEGA O.I.S., which automatically detects and compensates for hand-shake. You get clear, beautiful shots even when shooting in dim lighting, shooting macro close-ups or taking self-portraits.

Thanks to the energy-saving Venus Engine III and a long-lasting battery, the compact FX12/FX10 takes shot after shot without running out of power. You can snap as many as 370 (FX10) / 350 (FX12)* shots on a single battery charge. *Based on CIPA standard.
