2.5" LCD with High Angle Mode

High-Resolution 2.5" LCD

The large 2.5" LCD monitor has a total of 207,000 pixels, which gives it high resolution. The difference is easy to see, with much greater clarity, both when shooting and during playback.

Industry First* High Angle Mode for Easy Viewingnew

The new High Angle Mode makes the display extremely easy to view from bottom angle, for example, when taking photos raising a hand upward to shoot the subject over the crowd. This option can be set instantly by the independent button**.

  • **The button also performs as display setting.

Power LCD

You probably know how difficult it is to see an LCD image on a sunny day.
When that happens with the DMC-FX01, all you have to do is hold the DISPLAY/LCD button down a little longer and then select Power LCD mode from the screen. The LCD backlight becomes about 1.4 times brighter to produce clear, easy-to-see images even in bright sunlight.

Brighter 2.5" LCD Monitor Shows Even Dark Scenes Clearlynew

The bright 2.5" LCD monitor is easy to see when taking photos. The pixel-mixed readout method is used to automatically increase the brightness level of live images according to the level of ambient darkness. This allows bright, easy framing of scenes that would normally be too dark to see.

9/25 Multi Display & Calendar Displaynew

The large LCD allows the display of images even in tiny thumbnail size. Playback of 9 and 25 is possible on a multi-split screen in addition to the normal 1 frame playback. This helps you to search for the image you want out of a number of images stored on the SD Memory Card, even if the images are in bulk. The FX01 also features the new Calendar Display. It shows the day that each shot was taken, which makes it easy to group and play back all of the shots taken on a particular day.

Favorite Image Slideshow

You can place virtual checkmarks on your favorite images to group them together, then make a slideshow with only those images or delete the ones without checkmarks if you no longer need them.
